gutter guards for the past 7 years. We have had the fewest call backs with this

Gutter Screens
The cheapest form of Gutter Screen would be from your local hardware or building
material store - The plastic screens or mesh screens still allow some debri to
get past and plug you gutters these are typicially .50 cents to $1.00 per foot
materials only- They have a life span of about 5 years before they crack,
deteriorate, or are mangled because you have pulled and reset them so many
times. You still need to get up on the ladder maybee once a year to adjust and
clean the screens / gutters.
Gutter Topper Gutter Covers
Gutter Covers--Gutter Topper-- Leaf Guards--Gutter Helmet etc... Have been
designed to allow water to flow over the top of the gutter then curl aound the front edge and drip down into the gutter
while the debri falls off the front edge onto the ground.. This is a good concept for light to medium rainfall on heavy rains water tends to flow past the front edge and spill to the ground.
This happens even more so if the gutter covers are not installed at the proper pitch which can change with expansion and contraction of your soffit / roof system. The price tag is also fairly high and most companies only offer them installed.
Prices installed range from $9.00 per ft to $26.00 per ft some require the whole gutter to be replaced.
The Most Effective Leaf And Debri Gutter Protection.
Gutter Stuff Pro foam gutter inserts. Like i said earlier these are the most
effective gutter filters I have installed. There are 2 types of gutter foam -
The Regular Gutter Foam which we starting installing 7 years ago and the new
Gutter Stuff Pro - The main difference is the performance warrany 5 years on the
regular and 25 years for the Gutter Stuff Pro - The Pro has more of a UV
stabilizer and bacterial agent. A Rubber Coating through the entire
product the regular has some but is not as resistant. What we have found is that
some of the Regular Gutter stuff has started to breakdown on the top layer this
is of course after 7 years - It is however still performing but will need to be
replaced in the next 1-2 years. The Gutter Stuff Pro also has bigger pores to
allow the foam to stay virtually dry as compared to the regular which will hold
a bit of moisture. The only real drawback we have found is debri sitting ontop
of the foam can be seen from the ground. However this does not affect its
performance the rain water still pushes the debri forward allowing the rain
water to filter through the Gutter foam.
